Welcome to Marina Stavoren, Inner Harbour
The inner harbour of Marina Stavoren is situated at a unique location: Between the IJsselmeer and the Frisian lakes. The IJsselmeer is at walking distance here. Just like Stavoren, one of the so called ‘Eleven cities’ of Frisia and in former times, also a Hanseatic city. For visiting yachts as well as for holders of a long-term berth, this marina has lots of facilities for a pleasant stay with your entire family.
The cruising area
The inner harbour of Marina Stavoren is located in a large cruising area: One good reason why it is so popular as a starting base for boat trips. Meanwhile a second lock has been built here, too which greatly reduced the waiting times for the passage. Therewith, a sailing trip to the Wadden Islands (UNESCO natural heritage!) or a day trip to the other side of the IJsselmeer, like to Enkhuizen or Medemblik, is now well within a convenient day cruising range. That having said, you always have the equally fine option to sail to the Frisian lakes. There you’ll find charming little towns and villages like Heeg, Woudsend, IJlst or Sneek.
The inner harbour of Marina Stavoren has many excellent facilities for both your ship and your crew. You can use most of them free of charge, such as the sanitary rooms, the indoor swimming pool or our new indoor playground.
The berths in this marina all got their individual power connection and freshwater supply. A fuel station and a pumping station for bilge water or waste-holding tanks are located near the harbour office. The sanitary facilities consist of two buildings. Parking space for your car is available on the premises of the harbour, too, with security surveillance.
Furthermore, facilities here include a water sports shop with a super market section, a laundrette, a snack bar, a small fitness room, various outdoor playground features, the winter storage area and a very well equipped Yachtservice & Refit department.See the facilities
You and your family and / or friends are very welcome at our harbour, be that as visitor or as holder of a long-term berth.
